We’re looking for a remote SEM Specialist to create and manage effective advertising campaigns on Google and Microsoft Ads. You’ll collaborate with marketing and product teams to drive impact and improve lives through innovative digital solutions.
About the role
* Plan, execute and optimize web advertising campaigns on SEM platforms using data-driven insights, automation, and best practices.
* Demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills with a data-driven mindset; stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and technologies (including AI).
* Monitor and analyze campaign performance; define automation rules to handle repetitive tasks using tools like Tableau, Looker, Mixpanel, and the advertising platforms Google UAC and Bing.
* Collaborate with marketing, design, copy, data, and product teams to align campaign objectives and execution.
* Conduct competitor research and test new keywords, segments, ad formats, features, and audiences to identify opportunities and improve efficiency.
* Communicate and report on campaign results, insights, and recommendations. Experience with Pmax and Dem Gen Google Campaigns is a plus. Experience with other media platforms (e.g., Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat) is a plus.
Qualifications
* +2 years of experience in a similar digital role, actively managing Google Ads campaigns (ideally for a subscription-based B2C product).
* Experience with Ads/creative testing workflows for App Campaigns.
* Familiarity with Google and Microsoft advertising policies, guidelines, and best practices from account structure and creative perspectives.
* Strong SEM fundamentals: smart bidding, SQR, asset optimization, and testing.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly; familiarity with KPIs and operations of a B2C business.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work remotely with ownership and proactivity.
* Experience with Campaign Automation projects or tools that automate tasks; creative and innovative mindset with a willingness to test new ideas.
