Senior Project Manager in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence - Barcelona
Are you passionate about leading innovative projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data?
We are expanding our Big Data & Artificial Intelligence division and looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead our national and international initiatives from the Barcelona office, working with clients in finance, public administration, energy, and space agencies, and to position GMV as a leader in AI research and development.

WHAT CHALLENGES WILL YOU FACE?
You will be responsible for:
Leading the AI team in Barcelona.
Managing relationships with clients and ensuring efficient, tailored solutions.
Overseeing project documentation and quality deliverables.
Participating in pre-sales activities and client presentations.
Driving innovation and optimization of AI solutions and algorithms.
Identifying business opportunities and areas for strategic growth.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience leading technical projects and multidisciplinary teams. In addition:
️ High level of Catalan and fluency in English.
Excellent communication skills with national and international clients and partners.
Proactivity, leadership, client orientation, and negotiation skills.
Strong technical knowledge in:
Data platforms (IBM Watsonx, Google Data Cloud…)
Machine Learning and Deep Learning
Generative AI (LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAGs)
️ Computer Vision
Data and AI Governance
Python Programming
️ Availability to travel occasionally
We will also value knowledge in:
Experience in project management (PMI) and agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), with certifications such as PMP and Agile.
️ Technical certifications in cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, IBM).
Knowledge of data governance and certifications such as DAMA.
️ Experience in cybersecurity and fraud prevention, with credentials such as CISSP and ACFE.
