Accounting Specialist
Permanent contract / Marbella, Spain
Responsibilities
- Oversee GL, AP, and technical accounting operations
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
- Lead budgeting, forecasting & audit processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax & finance teams
- Manage relationships with external auditors, and other financial professionals, culminating in a timely and accurate audit process.
- Experience with reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting documentation.
Candidate's Profile
- 7+ years of post-qualification experience
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and regulatory frameworks, IFRS a plus
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency (MS Dynamics is a plus)
- Experience managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
- High attention to detail with a strong grasp of the big picture
- Experience preparing statutory financials
