Honeywell Multisite solutions are designed to help retailers cut energy costs. Our technologies can centrally manage HVAC and lighting systems for retail businesses spanning multiple locations. We can help retailers with the expertise to implement strategies to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and help them gain the expertise to support Energy Star, Green Building and LEED projects.
As a
Senior Project Manager
here at Honeywell Madrid, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing complex projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in project management and ability to lead teams will be crucial in achieving project goals and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring efficient project execution, fostering collaboration among team members, and delivering projects that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Your contributions will be essential in driving the success of our projects and supporting the overall growth and competitiveness of the company. Most of the projects are fast track and are managed remotely for various international Account customers in Europe.
Under the Honeywell Multisite business, division of Honeywell Building Solutions, the
Senior Project Manager
is responsible for managing building management (BMS) projects of various sizes, typically for retailers, generally over $250K and is required to provide support and tasking direction to the project technicians and sub-contractors.
Responsibilities
Ensure delivery of the projects within the scope with zero or positive deviation.Monitor the project process to identify opportunities for improving the project.Maintain customer satisfaction at acceptable levels and resolve customer issues.Monitor Financial performance monthly basis and review estimates versus actuals across their project deck /progress in percent, cost, revenue, billing, unbilled etc./ continuously improve and install operational metrics.Maintaining the internal and on-site subcontracting meetings continuous oral and written contact with the customer, designer, technical inspector, subcontractor.Develop effective partnerships with subcontractors to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available.Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication, training, equipment/vehicle, and facilities improvement.5% to 10% travel is required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field and Project Management advanced knowledge.Minimum 3 years of experience in project management in either building automation industry (BMS) in construction sector or in the retail construction fieldProven track record of managing complex projects successfully, Project operations and financial processes.Previous experience with Microsoft Project or other project management tools. PMI PMP, PRINCE2 or CAPM certifications are valued.SAP knowledge preferred.Demonstrated ability to lead a team.Spanish C1-C2. English level B2-C2
