Main Responsibilities
* Participate in and execute the medical and scientific (non-promotional) strategy for the portfolio and therapeutic area, in collaboration with the field team and aligned with the overall franchise strategy.
* Maintain deep expertise in PPH / PMED, including product knowledge and competitor data, acting as a reference internally and externally. Quickly assimilate new data and integrate it into the therapy area.
* Support the creation and implementation of medical plans.
* Develop strong business acumen to become a strategic business partner alongside the marketing head.
* Drive evidence planning and execution by understanding stakeholder evidence needs and analyzing data gaps.
* Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external experts.
* Understand healthcare system impacts and adapt strategies according to regional and tender needs.
* Lead omnichannel medical education strategies for PPH and PMED franchises.
* Work independently with a solutions-oriented approach to ambiguity.
* Foster collaboration with commercial and cross-functional teams, including marketing, access, health economics, regulatory, and clinical development.
* Support the rollout of medical governance and SOPs related to medical operations across vaccine franchises at the local level.
* Serve as the focal point for vaccines in medical operations and excellence topics, understanding global/local SOPs and industry codes.
About you
Education / Experience / Certification:
* MD or equivalent medical degree preferred; PhD or PharmD is a plus.
* At least 3 years of industry experience, including medical affairs or clinical experience, ideally with vaccines.
* Understanding of data generation processes, including clinical development and RWE, and data gap analysis.
* Ability to work independently with a solutions-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of managing challenging discussions.
* Knowledge of HCP communication preferences and channels, including omnichannel tools.
* Ability to share unmet needs with cross-functional teams to support patient-centric strategies.
