We’re hiring: Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Madrid (3 days in-office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Contract: Permanent

Language: Fluent English and Spanish required

Your mission

As an Inbound SDR, the role acts as the first touchpoint for prospects engaging with Mapal. The mission is to qualify inbound leads, understand business challenges, and convert interest into high-quality opportunities for the Sales team. This position plays a key role in aligning Marketing and Sales, ensuring a seamless and efficient lead journey.

Key responsibilities

* Manage and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, website, and events
* Evaluate prospect fit, needs, and level of interest to prioritize opportunities
* Engage with prospects via phone, email, and social channels
* Book qualified meetings and product demos for Account Executives
* Represent Mapal at trade shows and professional events across Spain and Europe
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (Salesforce or similar)
* Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates
* Share insights and feedback to continuously refine targeting and qualification processes

What we’re looking for

* 1+ year of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar commercial role (ideally in SaaS or tech)
* Fluent English and Spanish mandatory
* Strong ability to qualify leads and identify business opportunities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, organized, and results-oriented mindset
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with CRM tools
