Job Description Summary
Drive optimal performance (cost, fulfillment, quality, cash) and profitability through project execution. Develop an in-depth understanding of key business drivers and how your team’s work integrates with others.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Manage site/region strategy and execute operations finance activities, including planning, pacing, and closing. Own P&L and balance sheet activities such as cost accounting, inventory controls, product fulfillment, COGS booking, and functional costs.
* Develop expertise in your discipline, applying prior experience to execute policies and strategies.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and the business, providing informal guidance to new team members and explaining complex information clearly.
* Impact projects, processes, and procedures within your field, operating with some autonomy while following standard practices. Use professional judgment and technical expertise to solve problems.
* Support the implementation of GE policies and specific company policies, including warranty reserves and turnover recognition rules.
* Assist with annual audits, tax requirements, sourcing issues, and CAPEX bookings.
Required Qualifications
* For roles outside the USA: Advanced experience in finance and manufacturing operations, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Desired Characteristics
* Strong communication skills, problem analysis and resolution abilities, project management skills, and proficiency in English.
* Knowledge of SAP.
