Mission and Responsibilities :
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice on data protection and IT-related matters.
2. Support the Bank's Business and T&O areas.
3. Offer data protection-related advice, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating data protection provisions in agreements with third parties, especially complex collaborations with top-tier technology partners.
4. Review contracting flows from a privacy perspective.
5. Determine the roles of parties in relationships with third parties (e.g., independent controllers, joint controllers, data processors).
6. Manage international data transfers and ensure compliance.
7. Handle information requirements and sanctions procedures before the Spanish DPA; manage administrative recourses before the Audiencia Nacional.
8. Conduct legal assessments of complex privacy-related matters.
9. Draft, review, and negotiate IT contracts; advise on IT and IP issues, including implementation of new EU regulations (e.g., Digital Operational Resilience Act, AI Regulation).
To be successful in this role, you must have :
1. Experience in Big Four, recognized law firms, or in-house roles within financial or IT sectors.
2. University or master's degree in law; a Master in Data Protection or IT is a plus.
3. Previous experience advising on data protection, IT, and IP matters.
4. Proficiency in English.
5. Full Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
6. Strong organizational skills, adaptability, proactivity, good communication and teamwork skills, discretion, ethics, problem-solving abilities, initiative, and eagerness to learn.
