Job Opportunity: Biological R&D Formulator
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Biological R&D Formulator to spearhead the development and formulation of biopesticides and biofertilizers.
Location: There is a possibility to work remotely as a consultant.
Key Responsibilities
* Regulatory Expertise: Ensure compliance with regulations governing agricultural biological products, including registration, labeling, safety, and quality control.
* Compliance Assessment: Evaluate product ingredients, formulations, and safety data to meet regulatory standards.
* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of formulations, safety tests, and ingredient usage; prepare regulatory filings and reports.
* Labeling & Claims: Verify accurate, compliant product labels and support claims with scientific evidence.
* Regulatory Liaison: Communicate with regulatory authorities, monitor regulatory updates, and address compliance inquiries.
* Adverse Event Management: Report and investigate product-related incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Audit Support: Assist with audits and inspections, ensuring compliance documentation and corrective measures are in place.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in developing biopesticides and biofertilizers.
* 8+ years of experience in a similar position in a reputable company.
* In-depth knowledge of organic certification standards and regulations, including OMRI, EU Organic Regulations, and other relevant certifying bodies.
* Preferred proven track record in formulating products for challenging environmental conditions, particularly hot and dry climates.
* Strong understanding of soil science, plant health, and ecological sustainability.
Compensation: Competitive and will depend on experience and qualifications.
