Órbita, a leader in the engineering sector, is looking to hire a mechanical or chemical engineer to join our development team at our Alcàsser headquarters.
Responsibilities include:
* Generating specifications for validation and procurement of industrial equipment.
* Dimensioning and validating installations based on theoretical calculations.
* Creating and validating detailed construction plans for manufacturing.
* Preparing procurement lists.
* Monitoring and validating purchases, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
* Producing documentation according to quality standards.
You will be responsible within the team (mechanical, electrical, and programming) for technical coordination of assigned projects, as well as the fabrication and integration of designed installations.

Candidate requirements:
* Experience in designing industrial equipment related to continuous process industries (tanks, reactors, skids, platforms, hoppers).
* Calculations for fluid and solid transport installations (pressure drops, mass balances, time studies, heat transfer, mixing, and agitation).
* Design and sizing of pneumatic installations.
* Knowledge of equipment and processes related to the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries.
* Understanding of process diagrams and P&ID.
* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of 3D design applications (Inventor, AutoCAD Plant3D) is valued.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
* High motivation and flexibility to expand knowledge in industrial environments.
* Experience in process and equipment design in the mentioned industries.
* Willingness to travel to client sites.
