Role Description
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads within their assigned region, ensuring that Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) are properly assessed and converted into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to support the sales team in closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospect new clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other digital strategies.
- Qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), ensuring they meet the required criteria before passing them to the sales team.
- Manage the CRM, keeping lead information accurate and up to date.
- Schedule meetings and product demos with Sales Managers to move prospects further in the pipeline.
- Follow up with leads throughout the sales cycle, maintaining consistent communication to address questions and drive conversions.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team, providing feedback on lead quality and effectiveness.
- Participate in industry events and trade fairs to identify new business opportunities.

- Number of MQLs qualified and converted into SQLs
- Average response time to new leads
- Number of meetings scheduled with Account Managers
- Level of collaboration with Marketing to improve lead generation and quality
