We are currently looking for a Corporate Legal Advisor. You will Provide legal advice to the organization on matters related to law in his/her specific fields of responsibility as per the organizational chart of the Legal Department including, among others, the following: secretarial and corporate governance, commercial and business contracts (e.g. distribution, agency, franchise, general sales conditions) and facilities and service contracts (procurement and IT solutions), ecommerce/digital and consumers law, persona data and/or other general corporate legal matters.
Person in charge of the legal corporate area within the Legal Department and thus direct report to the Head of Legal of the organisation
• Review, draft and negotiate all legal contracts, internal policies and documents under the legal corporate area from a cross and international perspective
• Manage daily legal-corporate issues related to Desigual's subsidiaries/companies around the world to ensure compliance with local corporate requirements
• Manage daily legal issues to ensure Desigual compliance with specific legal fields including, but not limited to, the following: antitrust matters (competition and distribution restrictions), personal data protection, ecommerce/digital and consumers sales protection and compliance
• Monitoring external advisors on judicial claims and/or inspections.
• Provide legal advice to other Areas and Departments and coordinate and interact with them internal queries and special cross projects
• Execute and implement projects for the improvement and growth of the Legal Area and the processes and interaction with other Areas/Departments within the organization
• Carry out administrative tasks related to the nature of the role as required, including coordination with external advisors and service providers and budgeting
Bachelor’s Degree or similar in Law in a reputable college
• Master’s Degree or equivalent on international Business Law. At least, 5 years’ experience both in a reputable Spanish law firm and in a multinational company. Fluent in Spanish and English. French, German or Italian is a plus
