Job function: Finance – Business Partners. Professional category. Full‑time role located in Madrid, Spain.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Partnering and Leadership
o Build in-depth knowledge of brand/product strategy, pipeline, competitive landscape and market dynamics.
o Develop strong relationships with key business partners at country level with the Board, Franchise Director, the CVT, BI, HEMAR, MAF and other functional leads.
o Strategic business partnering to help drive growth of the therapeutic area in Spain;
support the CVT in driving the TA commercial strategy and play an advisory role for launch products, including resource allocation.
o Lead and deliver the TA Business Plan and TA Long‑Range Financial Plan.
o Finance leader to support innovative product launches with complex agreements and outcome‑based schemes within the TA.
* Finance Leadership
o Lead the development of the LRFP, Business Plan, updates, and quarterly latest estimate cycles.
o Actively contribute to developing Spain strategies, including Iberia target setting and resource allocation.
o Net Trade Sales and Operating Expenses planning and performance analysis;
challenge, identify risks and opportunities.
o Support SigniFi implementation and workstreams and initiatives in the transformation roadmap.
* People Management
o Provide people leadership to the Spain Finance Department in a high‑performing, positive and engaging working environment.
o Actively collaborate with the other TA controller, other countries’ controllers and the EMEA Regional Team.
Qualifications
* University degree and recognized professional financial qualifications.
* Exceptional financial and analytical skills.
* Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, collaborating with senior management, business, and functional leaders.
* Demonstrated digital acumen, including experience with advanced analytics, automation, and modern finance technologies.
* Strong collaborative, framing and communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven business partnering capabilities and passion for people and their development.
* Ability to influence and impact decisions, collaborate and build trust among senior business leaders, direct reports and finance colleagues.
* Proven experience as a finance leader in a large, multinational and matrix organization.
* Pharmaceutical industry know‑how is a plus with knowledge of health care systems.
* Excellent communication, influencing and framing skills.
* Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in periods of change.
* Very good stress control and a high sense of urgency.
* Controlled risk‑taking capacity.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Fluent Spanish and English.
