SALES MANAGER – MEET & ASSIST - AIRPORT SERVICES

JOB SCOPE
We are looking for a highly driven and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead the commercial development of our airport-based services in Madrid. A strong airport industry background is mandatory for this role.
You will be responsible for driving business expansion across all airport-related Business Units, including:
• Airport Meet & Greet services
• Lounge business
• Airport hotel
You will actively identify, scout, and develop new revenue opportunities across the entire airport ecosystem, leveraging your deep understanding of airport operations, passenger flows, and airline dynamics. You will play a critical role in expanding both direct sales and partnership channels, while ensuring strong financial performance through P&L ownership, forecasting, and revenue optimization across all BUs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development (All Business Units)
* Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-BU sales strategy covering Meet & Greet, lounges, airport hotel, and related services
* Identify, scout, and convert new business opportunities across travel trade, banks, airlines, OTA, hotels, MICE, corporates, and premium customer segments
* Build and manage a robust pipeline targeting VIP travelers, premium leisure, business executives, and airline partnerships
* Drive cross selling and bundled offerings across all airport services to maximize total revenue per passenger
* Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure
* Establish and grow strategic relationships with airlines, airport stakeholders, travel agents, OTAs, DMCs, MICE operators, hotels, and financial institutions
* Develop partnerships that support all Business Units, not limited to a single service line
* Identify and activate new distribution channels to increase utilization across lounge, Meet & Greet, and airport hotel services
* Leverage your airport network to unlock cross-BU commercial synergies
Revenue Growth & Scouting Activities
* Proactively scout new revenue streams within the airport ecosystem, including:
* Airline collaborations
* Ancillary and premium services
* Bundled and integrated passenger experiences
* Monitor passenger flows, airline networks, and airport developments to identify high-potential opportunities
* Drive upselling and cross-selling strategies across all BUs to increase overall yield and customer value
Financial Management & Performance
* Take ownership of P&L performance across all airport Business Units in scope
* Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and revenue plans at a consolidated level
* Analyze performance vs. targets, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions
* Track and report on key KPIs including pipeline, conversion rates, revenue per BU, and partner performance
Market Intelligence & Strategy
* Monitor competitor activity, airport developments, airline strategies, and market trends
* Provide actionable insights to refine pricing, positioning, and cross-BU commercial strategy
Support business reviews with data-driven analysis and strategic recommendations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* 8–15 years of sales and business development experience within the airport environment (mandatory)
* Strong, hands-on knowledge of airport operations, passenger flows, and airline commercial dynamics
* Proven experience in one or more of the following:
* Meet & Greet / VIP services
* Airport lounges
* Airport hospitality or hotel services
* Demonstrated ability to develop business across multiple service lines / Business Units
* Proven track record in generating new revenue streams through scouting and partnerships
* Solid experience in P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
* Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify gaps and drive performance improvements
* Established network within airlines, airport authorities, travel trade, and apt service providers
* Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus)
