As the Global Historian and Analytics Lead, you will play a strategic role in enhancing the effectiveness of our global Engineering function by driving key initiatives, optimizing cross-functional collaboration, and shaping data-driven decision-making. You'll lead the coordination of metrics, dashboards, and functional processes, acting as a vital bridge between Engineering and other business units. With a strong focus on operational excellence, you'll influence how we work, prioritize impactful projects, and guide teams through professional practices shaped by your insights. This role offers a unique blend of autonomy and collaboration, requiring sound judgment, a global mindset, and a passion for turning analytics into action.Responsibilities :
Define Data Management-Value Generation strategy for Manufacturing site working alongside the Global Process optimization lead.Support AVEVA PI application across all sites and act as global business owner for AVEVA PI Historian.Manage lifecycle of the application, plan upgrades, and maintain policies for access and data governance.Support ML teams on data infrastructure issues, including ML-OPS framework.Troubleshoot inter-application issues and oversee migration scripts for MS-SQL databases.Supervise external consultants and host Community of Practice for knowledge transfer.Qualifications and Requirements :
SQL Server Reporting Services, database optimization, security policies.Familiarity with OSIsoft PI (AVEVA PI) or similar platforms.Competence in Power BI and ML-OPS.Bachelor's degree or equivalent, significant experience with plant-wide historians, databases, analytics.Strong SQL and BI application knowledge, certifications advantageous.Experience in strategy presentation to senior management, fluency in Business English, and patience for process improvements.Desired Characteristics :
