The opportunityAs an R&D Project Manager – Power Electronics, you will be responsible for leading complex product development projects from concept to industrialization. You will work closely with cross-functional and global teams to ensure successful delivery of innovative power electronics solutions, aligned with business objectives, quality standards, and time-to-market expectations.This role offers a unique opportunity to drive technical excellence, foster collaboration across disciplines, and contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D ways of working.How you’ll make an impact- Lead cross-functional R&D project teams (Power Electronics, Mechanics, Control & Automation, Engineering) in close collaboration with Product Owners and Program Management.- Drive the development of multiple product roadmap items together with the R&D technical teams and key stakeholders.- Define project scope, budget, planning, and milestones across different R&D initiatives.- Ensure transparent and efficient backlog implementation, guaranteeing quality, timing, and successful releases.- Develop accurate, comprehensive, and regular project reporting, including stakeholder communication.- Collect, clarify, and prioritize requirements in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.- Manage risks, opportunities, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.- Set up and manage partnerships with external development partners and production suppliers.- Support the roll-out of releases to supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing, ensuring smooth handover to operations.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D processes, promoting lean and agile ways of working.- Ensure compliance with applicable internal procedures, quality standards, and external regulations.Your background- University degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or similar.- At least 3 years of experience in technical project management, covering full product lifecycle development (R&D, specifications, concept, design, testing, validation, qualification, and industrialization).- Proven experience managing product development projects in a multisite and global environment.- Good knowledge of Agile/Lean frameworks such as Scrum or stage-gate methodologies.- Experience with Power Electronics products is a strong advantage.- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- Proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to perform under pressure.- High level of autonomy, self-motivation, and accountability.- Fluency in spoken and written English is required (at least C1)More about usWe offer a permanent position where you will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking R&D environment where innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork are at the core of everything we do.We offer challenging and meaningful work, strong learning and development opportunities, and a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and new ideas.
