Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Italian market sales team. This role is perfect for a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the Italian business environment who can manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring the success of your team while aligning with SesameHR’s global sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives and SDRs focused on the Italian market.
* Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand SesameHR’s footprint in Italy.
* Oversee the full sales cycle through the team—from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing.
* Set clear sales targets, monitor individual and team performance, and implement coaching to optimize results.
* Foster strong collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth customer journeys.
* Maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders in Italy.
* Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management.
* Represent SesameHR at industry events and networking opportunities within the Italian market.
* Stay informed on competitors, industry trends, and evolving customer needs to adapt sales tactics.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience (3+ years) in sales leadership, preferably in SaaS or HR tech with a focus on the Italian market.
* Demonstrated success managing and scaling sales teams of Account Executives and SDRs.
* Deep knowledge of Italian business culture and B2B sales processes.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills, fluent in Italian and English.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage CRM tools and sales data to drive performance.
* Results-oriented mindset with a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
* Willingness to travel across Italy as needed.
