Role Description
This is a full-time on-site .NET Backend Developer role located in Salamanca, Spain. The .NET Backend Developer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with backend development, collaborating closely with front-end developers and other team members to implement designs and functionalities. Key Responsibilities
* Develop services using .NET
* Create scalable architectures and maintainable codebases.
* Work closely with product managers and front-end developers.
* Ensure application quality through unit and integration testing.
* Participate in code reviews and propose technical improvements.
* Stay current with backend best practices and emerging trends.
Required Qualifications
* Strong English communication (written and spoken) is essential. Work involves English communication.
* 3+ years of experience working with .NET / C#
* Solid understanding of API development and integration
* Experience with databases (SQL / NoSQL)
* Knowledge of services and backend communication patterns
* Experience working with websocket connections
Nice to Have
* Experience with containers (Docker)
* Knowledge of Kubernetes or other orchestration tools
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release processes, or cloud environments
* Familiarity with microservices architecture
* Other backend languages
