Position: Market Development Engineer specializing in IP&E technologies
As a Market Development Engineer, you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within designated markets or business segments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Specialize in key market segments and technologies within the assigned vertical.
* Own the go-to-market strategy for the assigned market/business segment.
* Conduct business strategy activities including market analysis, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
* Collaborate on product road mapping, new product development, and product management.
* Work with suppliers and internal teams to clarify product and service needs.
* Create and execute comprehensive product and service offers.
* Develop communication programs and materials for business development.
* Manage supplier and channel programs within the market.
* Contribute to marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs to increase market share and visibility.
* Lead Voice of Customer activities to gather feedback and validate marketing opportunities.
* Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and participate in joint calls with sales teams.
* Participate in supplier web training and identify market penetration strategies.
Qualifications:
* Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in sales, engineering, marketing, or product management.
* Experience in IP&E technologies.
* Strong engineering and business strategy skills including market segmentation and financial analysis.
* Strong sales skills and full driving license with readiness for travel.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish language skills (native or C1).
* Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders.
* Track record in market/segment management or solution development in B2B industries.
* Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
* Leadership, collaboration, and team management skills.
