We are currently seeking a highly qualified Country Manager to lead the entry and expansion of an international organisation within the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) sector in Spain.
This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a business from the ground up, contributing directly to the delivery of innovative care solutions that make a tangible impact on people’s lives.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing the market entry and growth strategy in Spain.
Establishing and managing relationships with public authorities, clients, industry bodies, and key stakeholders.
Building and leading a high-performing local team, while taking an active role in initial business development efforts.
Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Managing the local P&L, setting budgets, and ensuring robust financial governance.
Representing the organisation at relevant industry events and forums.
Ideal candidate profile:
Proven senior leadership experience, preferably within the Technology Enabled Care, digital telecare, or healthcare technology sectors.
Demonstrated success in selling technology-based healthcare or care solutions.
Strong knowledge of the Spanish TEC / digital telecare ecosystem.
Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and team management skills.
Experience working with public sector clients and procurement processes (tenders) is highly desirable.
Previous experience launching or scaling operations in a start-up or market-entry context is a plus.
A university degree in Business, Engineering, Technology or a related field.
Fluent in both Spanish and English.
