Sales & Business Development Manager Dietary Supplements

Job Description

This role is responsible for promoting ADM’s Health & Wellness portfolio, focusing on dietary supplements and consumer healthcare segments. The candidate will drive new business development and sales growth, contribute to product development, technical services, and application support. The territory covers EMEA, with initial focus on the UK, Middle East, and selected African countries. The position reports to the Sales & Business Development Leader, EMEA Health & Wellness. Remote work may be possible based on location, with travel estimated at approximately 20%.

Key Responsibilities

1. Achieve revenue and gross margin (GM) targets within the assigned region.
2. Analyze market needs, consumer trends, and competitors to develop regional commercial strategies, including customer segmentation, channel strategies, and cross-selling within ADM’s portfolio.
3. Collaborate with Management and R&D to recommend and shape the regional product portfolio.
4. Develop and execute short- and medium-term plans to expand the customer base in dietary supplements.
5. Provide application support tailored to customer needs, working closely with technical teams and utilizing regional and global resources.
6. Implement technical service support strategies specific to the region.
7. Coordinate go-to-market activities aligning with regional marketing strategies.
8. Represent ADM at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. At least 3 years of successful experience in B2B sales, marketing, or product management within probiotics, prebiotics, or microorganisms in dietary supplements or pharmaceuticals.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food Science, or related life sciences field preferred.
3. Proven experience in market development, product commercialization, and project management.
4. Experience working within a matrixed, cross-functional, and global organization.
5. Strong record of achieving key metrics such as revenue, GM, and operational profit.
6. Fluent in English;
additional languages like French or Spanish are advantageous.
7. Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude and a strong desire to succeed.
