With the support of the Artelier wider team, you will: /p ulliYou will carry out contextual research and development of artistic themes for the projects – a process which will inform the artwork direction, as well as the accessories. /liliImportantly, this can be considered a ‘hybrid’ role where the boundaries between artwork, craft and accessories blur to create an interwoven and holistic outcome. /liliYou will support the company in illustrating artwork ideas, specifically using hand-drawing and graphic design software skills to visualise concepts. /liliCarryout ongoing background research into new artists and artwork developments for our artwork library – which is managed by a colleague. /liliBe responsible for developing sophisticated, well-researched and contextually relevant accessories concept presentations. /liliRead spaces and intelligently curate meaningful collections with narratives that relate to the project theme and draw parallels with the wider artwork curation. /liliRefine and evolve the concept presentations through to schematic design mark-ups on floor plans, elevations and renders. /liliPrepare detailed design documents and schedules with item specification, procurement details and supplier information. /liliLiaise with suppliers to establish stock levels, commissioning details and arrange sampling. /liliPrepare detailed programme and budgets. /liliLead on client communication and travel where appropriate. /liliTake a lead in the procurement and commission management of key pieces. /liliDress and style projects onsite. /liliLead in researching and establishing an innovative and unique library of accessories and suppliers, including specific thematic categories, materials, techniques which can be tailored to our projects. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongGeneral /strong /ppAs a small company you will also likely be involved in other more day-to-day and administrative tasks.
