About the role
As the Principal Product Marketing Manager, Fintech, you’ll shape how financial solutions drive value for hoteliers and their guests. Your work connects financial decision makers with embedded finance innovation, crafting stories that unlock revenue streams and operational efficiency for our customers.
Responsibilities
* Define the Fintech market vision: Translate consumer demands, customer pains and industry trends into a compelling narrative and positioning for embedded finance in hospitality.
* Discover customer pain & market signals: Partner to define segmentation and ICPs, focusing on financial decision makers. Own competitive intelligence on direct product competitors, partnering with Market Research and Pricing & Packaging on broader market and win/loss insights.
* Shape GTM strategy & monetisation: Bring strong perspectives and customer insight into monetisation discussions, partnering closely with Pricing & Packaging to shape strategy and frameworks that address opportunities and competition.
* Craft the Fintech narrative: Build and maintain the embedded finance in hospitality narrative, ensuring consistency across channels, surfacing missed opportunities and shaping new ones.
* Plan, launch & orchestrate teams: Continuously optimise GTM playbooks, launch processes, and gates, setting new standards of readiness across teams. Orchestrate cross‑functional alignment across SaaS PMM, Product, Sales, and Fintech specialists.
* Enable through collaboration: Operate as part of the Fintech GTM trio (Product Marketing, Enablement, and Solutions Specialists), ensuring insights and content flow in a virtuous cycle.
* Lead & influence: Provide dotted‑line leadership to Senior PMMs, raising the craft bar. Present to leadership teams to influence OKRs, deliverables, and overall standards with data‑driven recommendations.
Qualifications
* 7-10+ years in B2B Product Marketing, with 3-5+ years in embedded finance, payments or Fintech.
* Proven collaboration with Pricing & Packaging or RevOps to shape monetisation strategies.
* Experience scaling GTM frameworks: tiered launches, enablement, adoption motions.
* Analytical mindset: comfortable with Total Payment Value take rates and margin levers. Comfortable with using/analyzing data to drive insights and understand performance of products.
* Executive presence and strong presentation skills with the ability to simplify complexity and gain stakeholder alignment.
* Experience mentoring or guiding other PMMs.
* Ability to work collaboratively and cross‑functionally across different teams and areas at the company.
* Bonus points if you have:
* Hospitality, POS, or marketplace platform experience.
* Exposure to both card‑present and card‑not‑present payments.
* Knowledge of risk, compliance, or regulatory environments.
* A passion for AI and automation to scale marketing productivity.
* Ability to leverage AI for information sharing internally and drive smarter, faster collaborations and decision‑making within the Matrix org.
