Talents First recruits for its client, a growing industrial equipment manufacturer, a:Area Sales ManagerMissionsReporting to the Regional Management, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Northern Spain and Portugal through the development and management of a distributor network.The role combines business development, key account management, and technical sales in a highly competitive industrial environment.Your main responsibilities include:- Developing and managing a network of distributors and channel partners- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and new accounts- Promoting and selling technical solutions in compressed air systems- Delivering technical presentations and conducting air audits for customers- Supporting partners to ensure effective solution delivery and customer satisfaction- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs- Achieving sales targets while ensuring profitabilityProfileEducation & Experience- Engineering degree or technical background (sales/business education is a plus)- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B industrial sales- Proven experience in developing and managing distributor networks (indirect sales)- Experience in compressors or similar industrial equipment is highly desirableSkills & Knowledge- Strong technical understanding of compressed air systems and industrial applications- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills- Autonomous, results-driven, and comfortable working in a field-based role- Ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholdersLanguages- Spanish: Native level- English: Good level required- Portuguese: A plusAdditional Information- Location: Northern Spain (with coverage of Portugal)- Travel: Frequent travel within the assigned territoryIf you are a technically strong sales professional with solid experience in distributor development and industrial solutions, we would be pleased to hear from you.
