Join our Business Development team as Associate Director Business Development .
Associate Director Business Development supports the acquisition and growth of new business opportunities, focusing on Clinical Research and / or Pharmacovigilance (PV), Medical Information (MI), and Regulatory Affairs (RA) services. The role involves proactive client acquisition, account development, and supporting strategic sales initiatives.
Location : Europe (Remote / Travel Required)
Reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully driving new client acquisition, demonstrating a strategic, "hunter"-oriented approach in the Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA service domains.
Key Responsibilities
* Attracting new clients and building strong relationships in Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA service lines
* Maintaining good relationships with key clients and ensuring proactive account management
* Achieving assigned sales goals and supporting broader commercial strategies
* Supporting sales strategy execution and collaborating with internal stakeholders
Business Development
* Identify and convert new business opportunities in Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA areas
* Drive lead generation and relationship development independently
* Represent the company at industry events and support sales strategy implementation
Key Account Management
* Develop and maintain account plans for clients
* Coordinate RFP / RFI responses and lead bid defense meetings
* Ensure high client satisfaction and continuity
Operational Collaboration
* Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
* Support proposal, marketing, and operations teams during client acquisition cycles
Revenue Growth
* Achieve sales targets consistently
* Contribute to year-over-year growth in territories or accounts
Requirements
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Proactive, result-driven, and well-organized
* Team-oriented with the ability to work independently

* University degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
* Minimum 5 years of sales or account management experience in CRO or related life sciences sector
* Fluent in English and native language (spoken and written)
* Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) is a plus
