The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC), Spain’s leading centre for micro- and nanotechnologies, is seeking a Pilot Line Equipment Installation & Acceptance Manager to join the PIXEurope Project, a flagship initiative funded under the European Chips JU.
At IMB-CNM you will work in Spain’s largest cleanroom facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and international consortia to strengthen Europe’s strategic autonomy in integrated photonics.
👉 What will you do?
* Lead and coordinate the installation, validation and acceptance of equipment within the pilot line.
* Oversee equipment operation during technology development.
* Design and develop a centralised equipment operations database.
* Supervise the implementation of operations systems.
* Collaborate with the Pilot Line Project Manager and Director to ensure project success.
✅ What we are looking for
* Strong background in semiconductor or photonics manufacturing.
* Experience in equipment acceptance, validation and process integration.
* Knowledge of industrial procedures and operational excellence.
* Skills in production line management, process modelling and parametrization.
* Excellent project coordination, communication and leadership skills.
* Hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Language: English (full working competence), Spanish (basic).
