We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Business Development division and help us improve people's lives. As a member of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development ("APM") will assist with the P3 bidding process from a developer/equity investor perspective on social and transportation projects across various regions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Coordinate and manage the P3 bidding processes from start to finish.
2. Negotiate equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
3. Engage with developer and lender advisors.
4. Prepare RFQ submissions.
5. Develop and implement bid management plans.
6. Create project schedules and monitor milestones.
7. Coordinate bid deliverables with project management teams across finance, design, construction, operations, and rehabilitation.
8. Negotiate contractual terms with the legal team for agreements such as DBFM and Design-Build Contracts.
9. Work with finance to secure project funding and coordinate with lenders and advisors.
10. Develop project costing in collaboration with finance, legal, construction, and operations teams.
11. Maintain relationships with partners, advisors, and clients.
12. Report on bid progress, project descriptions, and market assessments.
13. Support additional activities with finance, legal, or technical groups as needed.
14. Travel regularly for meetings.
Requirements and Competences :
1. Degree in civil or industrial engineering.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in construction production.
3. Proficiency in Spanish and English.
4. Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and pay attention to detail.
5. Self-starter capable of working independently and in teams.
6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
7. Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
8. Strong understanding of P3 contractual frameworks.
9. Excellent communication skills.
10. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
11. Experience with P3 deals is a plus.
