Senior Data Scientist required to lead machine learning, deep learning projects in European advanced AI development. Remote/mixed in Madrid.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and optimise machine learning and deep learning models for project use cases.
Implement advanced solutions in Python using foundational libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn or SciPy.
Train, tune and evaluate neural network architectures (Transformers, RNN, LSTM, GRU) in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras.
Apply NLP techniques with tools such as Hugging Face Transformers and spaCy.
Fine‑tune language models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT and variants.
Integrate models into MLOps platforms (Kubeflow, BentoML).
Collaborate on containerisation and deployment of services using Docker and Kubernetes.
Contribute to applied research and experimentation in advanced AI.
Document processes, results and conclusions in technical reports.
Qualifications
Higher degree in computer science, telecommunications, software engineering, physics, mathematics or related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience as Data Scientist working with machine learning or deep learning.
Advanced domain knowledge of Python and data science libraries (NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn, SciPy).
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras.
Knowledge of neural network architectures (Transformers, RNN, LSTM, GRU).
High level English proficiency.
