CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist
This hybrid role combines hands-on Mautic expertise with multichannel campaign management and customer success coordination across clients, internal development teams, and the CEO. You will serve as both the technical marketing operator ensuring smooth campaign execution and the primary contact for delivering ongoing value for our managed deliverability and profit-optimized ESP services.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Mautic platform — including installations, upgrades, plugins, and security.
* Use SSH to audit and optimize server cronjobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) in collaboration with Dev-OPS.
* Handle message triggers and monitor worker processes.
* Query engagement data in Amazon Athena (SQL) to validate KPIs and generate insights, coordinating with Dev-OPS.
* Monitor email deliverability using tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, and MXToolBox to maintain inbox placement rates above industry standards.
Customer Success & Coordination
* Act as the primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule meetings, gather requirements, create support tickets, and track SLAs.
* Coordinate hand-offs between the development team, CEO, project managers, and clients; clarify expectations, blockers, and timelines.
* Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next steps.
* Collect client feedback and translate it into actionable backlog items or optimization strategies.
Project Prioritization & Growth
* Collaborate with the CEO to prioritize JIRA tasks to maximize ROI.
* Conduct experiments such as subject-line testing and segment roll-outs to measure impact.
* Identify and scope new customer opportunities fitting our profile of 10+ million emails/month.
* Required skills include 2-4 years in CRM/Marketing Automation, with at least 1 year as a primary Mautic owner.
* Proficiency in SQL on Amazon Athena, including window functions and partitions; familiarity with LLM tools is a plus.
* Linux CLI skills: cron, log analysis, bash scripting, with LLM assistance.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to marketers and strategic trade-offs to executives.
* Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach.
* Lean, iterative mindset focused on delivering value efficiently.
* Mastery of AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot for rapid content creation and queries.
* Bonus skills: Experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable.
* Alignment with Amazon Leadership Principles is preferred.

Success Milestones at 30/60/90 Days
30 Days: Set up a new sending domain, configure DNS, warm-up plan, SES credentials, Mautic settings, and document the process.
60 Days: Fully manage customer success for a client, demonstrating consistent growth and proactive issue resolution.
90 Days: Independently oversee multiple clients' campaigns, analytics, and coordination, with minimal intervention and proactive new business development.
