Role Overview
The Industry Advisor (IA) supports our Industry business to grow sales pipeline and engage with customers to secure revenue. The IA provides industry perspective, strategic solution advice, and thought leadership to drive pipeline growth through demand generation, support sales cycles, and contribute to SAP’s leadership position in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning, Strategy, & Practice Development : Develop and execute business plans, enable sales teams, and create industry-specific content.
* Drive Awareness & Demand : Build SAP's brand via thought leadership, create industry communities, and generate new pipeline opportunities.
* Pipeline Development : Accelerate opportunity conversion, develop account strategies, and conduct executive meetings.
* Support Deal Execution : Differentiate SAP during sales cycles, advise on proposals, and lead customer executive conversations.
* Customer Success : Provide post-sale advisory, support customer councils, and build references.
Qualifications
* 9-12+ years of professional experience, with expertise in the Consumer Products industry.
* Customer-facing experience, fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
* Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments; experience managing escalations and strategic partnerships.
Team & Location
Work with a diverse team, representing SAP on industry matters, with ~30% travel. Location is flexible within Spain or other EMEA locations.
