The Role
As our Governance, Co-design, Innovation & Business Facilitator, you will design and lead multi-actor dialogues and participatory processes that enable the co-creation and implementation of solutions for sustainable rural economies.
Initially anchored in a Horizon Europe project, this position is designed to evolve into a strategic role, contributing to the consolidation of SAE Innova as an international enabler of regenerative food systems through partnerships, governance models, and innovation processes.
What you’ll do
* Facilitate multi-actor processes: Design and lead workshops, Living Labs, and collaborative sessions involving farmers, researchers, policymakers, companies, and civil society actors.
* Lead co-design methodologies: Apply participatory and user-centred approaches to ensure solutions are designed with stakeholders, especially in rural and agricultural contexts.
* Support innovation & business development: Help translate project outcomes into viable, sustainability-driven business models and long-term initiatives.
* Project governance & engagement: Coordinate stakeholder engagement, governance structures, and reporting within EU-funded projects.
* Build strategic networks: Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with European and international partners, strengthening SAE Innova’s ecosystem.

* Demonstrable experience designing and facilitating innovation or participatory processes (workshops, labs, multi-stakeholder platforms).
* You are passionate about contributing to thriving rural communities.
* Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to navigate diverse perspectives and guide groups towards shared outcomes.
* A solid understanding of rural, agricultural, or sustainability-related contexts .
* Experience working in European projects (Horizon Europe or similar frameworks) and multicultural environments is highly valued.
* Ability to connect project ideas with business logic and long‑term viability.
* Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory. Spanish is required for internal team communication.
Requirements and role details
* Location: Hybrid role based in Murcia, Spain. We value candidates living in the region or willing to relocate.
* Work Permit: Have a Spanish work permit or meet the requirements to apply for it.
* Start date: Target start date is May 2026.
* Contract: Full-time, undetermined. The position is initially supported by a Horizon Europe framework, with a clear long‑term vision for consolidation within the company.
