Responsibilities

- Market Analysis: Analyze Food & Beverage applications to identify growth opportunities, evaluate verticals for resilience, regulatory trends, and sustainability relevance, monitor competitors and product gaps, shape market segmentation and value propositions.
- Key & Strategic Account Management: Support sales in managing key accounts, provide insights on applications and markets to shape account strategies, lead acquisition of new strategic customers and develop strong business cases, advise portfolio leaders on trends, applications and competitor positioning, support new product development and business case creation, align pricing and value strategies with sales and product teams, deliver targeted training and technical support to enhance sales effectiveness, address capability gaps with tools, coaching and tailored materials.
- Marketing: Collaborate with marketing on messaging, campaigns and collateral, promote brand visibility through exhibitions, digital content and vertical-specific outreach.
- Training & Communication: Create and update training for Food & Beverage topics, act as a technical and market expert for internal stakeholders, customers and external audiences (speaking at conferences, webinars, customer events).

Critical Outputs & Achievement Required

- Proven vertical strategies leading to measurable revenue and margin growth.
- Strengthened position in Food & Beverage through key account wins and market visibility.
- Established internal competence across teams through regular training and collaboration.
- Trusted subject-matter expert recognized by internal and external stakeholders.

Education And Experience

- University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical/commercial field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in market development, product management, or technical sales, preferably within industrial applications such as vacuum, compressors, or sustainable technologies.
- Proven track record in managing strategic accounts, identifying market opportunities, and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage industry is required; knowledge of food packaging applications is a strong advantage.
- International business experience and proficiency in English required; additional languages are a plus.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Willingness to travel up to 50% across EMEAI.

- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- High commercial and strategic awareness.
- Ability to work across departments and influence without authority.
- Strong analytical and communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Confident public speaker, trainer, and customer-facing communicator.
- Highly self-motivated, solution-oriented, and adaptable.
- Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
