Key responsibilities As a Content Manager you will be responsible for managing our content selection, prioritization, and production process and coordinating with external providers, both for in-house created and user generated content. You’ll be responsible for identifying tech trends and selecting what software, applications and categories should be improved within Softonic properties. Together with the team, you will also take part in creating new landing pages for the catalog, as well as updating existing pieces in English or adapt content, creating text that is perfectly suited to an English speaking audience You’ll ensure that all of our content is readable and SEO friendly, follows internal guidelines and is error free. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable giving critical feedback, suggesting improvements and corrections at every step of the way. You’ll be responsible to define the content selection and upgrade cycles criteria, in order to maximize content profitability for all Softonic properties. Experience and qualifications: Relevant Bachelor Degree or 3 to 5 years of experience in related fields. Editorial experience and knowledge about software, technology, and its market trends. High level of English - we publish in US English so it's essential you're comfortable with the language. Define and execute our SEO content strategy and competitor analysis. Great proofreading and editing skills, with a keen awareness of SEO on page. Full domain of tool such as Sistrix, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc Experience with trends detection tools and SEO, such as Google Trends, Newswhip, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Keywordtool.io, Ubersuggest, etc. Experience with Content Management Systems Hands on approach, team player and collaboration Curiosity and eagerness to learn and come up with new ideas Analytical mindset Content strategy and planning Adaptability and flexibility Time management and organization Why Softonic?
