Offer Description
VHIR is seeking a Predoctoral Researcher to join the Pharmacokinetic Nanoparticles Research Group.
Main responsibilities and duties:
* To follow up the experimental programme associated with the funded project.
* Prepararing and monitoring of the specimens included in the study.
* Skilled execution of research protocols.
* Collaboration with other team members.
* Analysis and interpret the data obtained.
* Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry / Master’s degree in biomedicine, biochemistry or a related field.
* Additional or specialised training in synthesis of nanoparticles and cell culture and molecular / cell biology techniques.
* Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (professional proficiency).
* Additional or specialised training in tissue and blood banking techniques.
Experience and knowledge: Required:
* At least 1 years’ experience working in a biomedical research laboratory.
* Knowledge in cell culture and fluency in molecular biology techniques.
* Experience in nanotechnology and inorganic nanoparticle research.
* Knowledge of key characterisation techniques such as UV-VIS, Dynamic Light Scattering and Seta Potential.
* Knowledge of Nanoparticle formulation.
Additional Information Labour conditions:
* Full-time position: 37.5h/week.
* Starting date: As soon as possible.
* Gross annual salary: 18.700 – 20.000 euros. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
* Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
