About the Role:
As a Senior Strategic Procurement Manager, you will act as a bridge between technology and business, ensuring digital tools and processes are effectively implemented and aligned with strategic goals. You will lead procurement activities across a range of categories, developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and supporting global procurement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Category Strategy & Leadership (Core): Lead and manage significant procurement spend. Develop and execute robust 3-5 year category plans and global sourcing strategies across a portfolio of airlines.
Digital & Efficiency: Act as a bridge between business needs and technology, ensuring that digital procurement tools are optimised, supported, and aligned with strategic goals.
Senior Stakeholder Management: Act as the single point of contact for senior executives across various airlines, balancing business needs with robust commercial challenge.
Value & Risk Management: Lead contract negotiation, manage supplier risk, and drive commercial innovation across the supply base.
Requirements:
Significant senior-level experience in strategic procurement/category management within a complex, global organization (e.g., in a fast-moving or agile business).
Strong demonstrable expertise in contract negotiation and dispute resolution, along with deep knowledge across the full commodity lifecycle.
Exceptional ability to partner with and influence Senior Leaders and Executives, aligning diverse views and providing clarity amid ambiguity and change.
Experience managing teams, stakeholders, or projects across multiple countries and cultures .
