393852BR**External Engagement Manager**:Spain**About the role****External Engagement Manager**Location: Novartis, Madrid, Spain #LI-Hybrid**About the Role**:Provide a strategic view, professional advice, support and coordination in activities/relationships for a particular area of external Communications, with a focus on corporate positioning with impact on Novartis Spain strategy.**Key Responsibilities**:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Own the definition of strategic planning of linked corporate positioning to the areas of interest of Novartis in Spain.- Coordinate and provide specialized knowledge in a specific area of he communications, with a focus on corporate positioning.- Act as a strategic partner for the business and build and support the implementation of communication strategies in their own area of expertise.- Supervise the implementation of internal and external communications plans coherent.- Supervise the implementation of the assigned project activity or communications.- Establish relationships with and advise senior business partners and senior colleagues from Communications, media groups and specific media outlets.- Handle agencies and other external suppliers to ensure maximum return on investment.- Use and coordinate available communications resources to achieve results necessary ensuring effective deployment of project information/materials.- Lead, train and mentor a small team and coordinate the education of colleagues from communications and business partners through communications specialties.- Collaboration in the strategic definition of positioning in Social Networks, creation of communities and strengthening of existing communities. Find opportunities for digital exploration.**Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion**:- We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve._**Role Requirements****Essential Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Validated experience in external engagement, communication, or related roles.- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.- Knowledge of marketing principles and brand management.- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the market and the pharmaceutical industry, or industries with communication challenges.- Leadership in planning and execution of digital strategies, Channel innovation / Knowledge and curiosity about Social Networks and Digital Ecosystem.- Analysis and synthesis of commercial information.- Proficiency in English (Both written and spoken).**Why Novartis?**Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
