Offer Description
ELISAVA is seeking an accredited Lecturer (PDI) to teach in the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering. The candidate should demonstrate a creative understanding of technology and the ability to apply scientific knowledge as a tool for both teaching and research.
Responsibilities include teaching subjects such as mechanics, CAD (particularly Creo Parametric), materials technology, graphic expression, mechatronics, structural analysis, and programming fundamentals (e.g., Java). The position combines teaching, course preparation, and research activities.
Candidates must hold a PhD and official accreditation (AQU/ANECA or equivalent). A solid scientific track record, experience in collaborative and industry-linked projects, international experience, and teamwork skills are highly valued. The position may be full-time or part-time.

Skills/Qualifications
- PhD in Engineering or a related field
- Official academic accreditation (AQU/ANECA or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of mechanics and materials engineering
- Advanced CAD skills (preferably Creo Parametric)
- Competence in mechatronics and basic robotics
- Programming knowledge (e.g., Java)
- Proven research experience and scientific publications
- Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary and industry-related projects
- Teaching experience at university level
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Specific Requirements
Candidates must hold a PhD in engineering or a comparable field and be accredited by AQU or ANECA with one of these evaluation procedures for private universities (or the previous ones from AQU and ANECA):
In case candidate haven't passed yet any of such evaluations yet, but they consider to be fit for the ANECA and AQU criteria and that they could quickly pass such evaluations, we encourage them to apply anyway, commenting this in the application.
Furthermore, please note that beside the ANECA and AQU evaluations, Assistant Professors can then become Associate Professors (Professor Titular) once they have:
- directed or co-directed 2 or more doctoral theses
- a proved experience with teaching and research at an international level
- successfully passed an evaluation of six-years of research period at AQU (private universities) or ANECA:

Finally, candidates must have strong scientific track record, motivation to teach in creative environments, ability to work on projects with companies, international experience, and a willingness to work in teams and forge new collaborations will be highly valued.
