This position is for a System Administrator in the Oracle NetSuite OpenAir Operations group focusing on providing high level system support in areas of monitoring, automation, backups, capacity/performance planning, high availability and researching new technology. In this role you will work with remote engineering team responsible for maintaining production environments of OpenAir application and related tools/systems inside of the Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure (public cloud).

OCI public cloud, linux (CentOS), Terraform, Foreman, Logstash, Apache, Oracle DB
What you’ll do:
1. implementing, supporting, and securing network and server infrastructure for NetSuite OpenAir application
2. Participating in major systems improvement projects
3. Diagnosing performance issues, and performing root-cause analysis
4. Monitoring and analysing availability and capacity of networks, servers running on OCI public cloud.
5. Performing general system configuration, backups, maintenance, and optimisation of (mostly) Linux server infrastructure
6. Developing automation via terraform/saltstack and python/shell/bash.

What do we look for?
8. Experience with Unix System Administration, Linux Administration of any distribution. Windows is a plus (we have few windows servers too)
9. Experience with public clouds (. AWS, Azure, GCP), we work with OCI
10. Experience with configuration management tools, Infrastructure as a code approach and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
11. Database knowledge - MySQL, Oracle is a plus
12. Scripting skills: Python, bash, shell, powershell, perl
13. Willingness to work with remote team.
14. Willingness to on-call rotations.
15. Conversation level of English.

Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. Propose client configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Work with others to define, coordinate vendor purchase needs. Responsible for support documentation as well.
