Overview
We are seeking a strategic professional to join us as a Business Development Manager of World Luxury Chamber of Commerce (WLCC). This is a full-time remote role. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for attracting new members to the organization, selling membership packages, managing member relationships, engaging with members to understand their needs, and retaining and growing the membership base. Other duties include analyzing membership data to assess growth opportunities and fostering communication between members and the WLCC team.
Main activities and responsibilities
* Research companies/lead generation.
* Reach out to companies via phone/email/social media.
* Conduct B2B negotiations, attract new members to the organization, sell membership packages.
* Meet or exceed sales goals.
* Maintain client records in CRM.
* Establish, develop and maintain positive business and member relationships, handle clients' requests/questions in timely manner.
* Take part in creation of strategic plans, that expands organization's membership base and ensure its strong presence, implement them and analyze the results.
* Present sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
* Identify and implement ways to increase database of members and sales performance.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Membership Management with the ability to retain and grow a global membership base.
* Experience in real estate, lifestyle, interior design, architecture, banking, legal, art, or awards industries will be a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telecommunications and email to engage with members and understand their needs.
* Previous experience in tele sales and lead generation, understanding of the sales process and dynamics (at least 5 years of experience).
* Experience of work with foreign B2B clients/members (US/EU).
* Advanced level of written and spoken English.
* Proficiency in analytical skills for evaluating membership data and identifying growth opportunities.
* Proven leadership abilities and organizational skills to manage membership strategies and initiatives.
* Familiarity with luxury industry trends and the ability to work with high-profile businesses.
* Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* Strong self-management, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage time and priorities across multiple tasks.
* Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
