Job Title: Site Deployment Program Lead - Manufacturing Systems
Reporting to: Head of Global Operations Automation & Analytics
Type: Contract / Consulting (12 months initially; extension likely up to 3 years) or Perm
Location: Remote (global manufacturing footprint)
Role summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Deployment Program Lead to program-manage the rollout of centrally developed IT and digital manufacturing solutions across a global manufacturing network. The role is focused on execution, coordination, and adoption at site level—not solution design.
You will lead deployment planning and delivery across 16 manufacturing sites, working closely with site integration leads, local business resources, global IT teams, and site leadership to ensure deployments are delivered on time, adopted effectively, and result in measurable operational value.
What you’ll do
* Own the end-to-end site deployment programme for global manufacturing systems, including roadmap, governance, rollout sequencing, and wave planning.
* Oversee readiness and execution of individual site deployments, covering integration, data readiness, testing, cutover, go‑live, and stabilisation.
* Lead and coordinate a network of site integration leads and business deployment resources across multiple sites.
* Act as the main interface between global solution teams, IT delivery, and site leadership during deployments.
* Ensure each deployment delivers business value, strong adoption, and is embedded into site operations.
* Drive structured change management, incorporation of lessons learned, and continuous improvement across rollout waves.
What we’re looking for (must-haves)
* 10–15 years’ experience in manufacturing, operations transformation, or enterprise system deployments within a regulated environment (pharma/biotech or similar).
* Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production‑environment constraints.
* Excellent programme leadership, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
Strongly preferred
* Deployment experience with ERP, MES, planning, quality, or engineering systems (e.g. SAP).
* Experience running wave‑based rollouts across global manufacturing networks.
* Strong track record driving change, adoption, and value realisation at site level.
