We’re looking for a skilled Web Developer to join a leading international retail organization based in Barcelona — working on innovative web solutions that reach millions of users.
Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid – 8 days/month in the office)
Contract: Permanent (Direct with end client – no outsourcing)
Experience: 3+ years in modern web development
🔧 Your Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring high standards of stability, maintainability, and security.
* Take part in the full software development lifecycle – from design and implementation to deployment.
* Contribute to the conception and design of our web platform, applying modern React principles (Hooks, Context).
* Write and maintain automated tests (Unit, Integration, and especially E2E with Playwright).
* Participate in code reviews and continuously improve the application’s architecture, usability, and performance.
* Plan and implement new features, integrate APIs, and manage application state (e.g., with Redux).
* Collaborate within a small, agile, and international Scrum team focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
👤 Your Profile
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience in modern web development (React & TypeScript).
* Deep understanding of the React ecosystem (including Redux or similar state management tools).
* Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and knowledge of modern architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM).
* Experience writing automated tests (Playwright required; Jest or React Testing Library is a plus).
* Proficient with Git (Gitflow), npm/yarn, Webpack, and familiar with agile methodologies (Scrum).
* Ideally, experience with Jira and Confluence.
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in complex web application development.
* Fluent in English for technical discussions and team collaboration.
