Job DescriptionSenior 3D Environment Artist
Responsibilities
Model, texture and integrate in-game environments based on concepts, 3D mock-ups and art direction specifications.
Create the environment from its conception (Whitebox) to define spaces, balancing performance and visual quality.
Maintain textures and materials within technical parameters and guides.
Organize levels and perform necessary technical tasks (probes and other sub-systems).
Optimize data and workflow.
Coordinate closely with design teams during level implementation to ensure expected results.
Track and fix bugs during and after level creation.
Help and mentor junior team members.
QualificationsRequirements:
+5 years of experience in video game production with a track record of shipped projects.
A portfolio showcasing realistic 3D environment art, or a clear ability to adapt to realistic visual styles.
Proficiency in 3ds Max, Substance suite and Z-brush. Blender can be optionally used.
Skill in creating PBR assets and the PBR workflow in general.
Good eye for detail and asset organization.
Knowledge of video game art standards in general.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, contributing to a healthy team environment.
Nice to have
Experience with related specializations: Lighting, Animation, Concept art, or Shader creation.
Familiarity with other 3D plugins/software for procedural/automated asset creation.
