We’re partnering with one of the UAE's most exciting tech companies to hire a Java Architect to lead a major platform re‑architecture. You’ll shape the technical vision, design scalable, high‑performance backend systems, and enable seamless integrations across products and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and evolution of the Open Platform backend, ensuring scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Define system‑level architecture, microservice boundaries, communication patterns, and database strategies.
- Provide technical leadership, review designs, and ensure architectural consistency across the team.
- Collaborate with product, DevOps, and QA to deliver robust solutions at scale.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years backend experience with 3+ years in a technical lead or architect role.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, event‑driven architectures, relational & NoSQL databases.
- Hands‑on with DevOps, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
