Job Description:br/br/In order to support the Airbus Working Party department, Airbus Commercial is looking for abr/br/Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA B1 WORKING PARTY MANAGER (d/f/m)br/br/Airbus Customer Care Centre, Working Party Team provides after sales support. Specializing mainly in structural repair, the Airbus Working Party department provides major repair services to their customers at locations throughout the world.br/br/Our team offers complete certified packages including customized repair solutions, planning and repair embodiment.br/br/As a Working Party Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing aircraft repair projects from the planning phase, through to embodiment and release to service. You will act in a certifying staff, coordinate the Airbus team onsite and work with our customer to deliver on time, on cost and on quality products to an industry leading standard.br/br/As this role is mainly for structural repair activities, a successful applicant should have spent a considerable period engaged in activities such as heavy maintenance, manufacture or cargo conversion.br/br/Working in diverse teams with customers worldwide, the ability to manage across different nationalities and cultures is a large part of this position.br/br/Your tasks and responsibilitiesbr/br/- Managing team competences and allocating workbr/br/- Carrying out inspectionsbr/br/- Certifying aircraft repair tasks in establishing the Working Party file and issuing Certificate of Release to Service for the work package performed, in accordance with EASA/FAR Part 145 rules.br/br/- Ensure airworthiness of the aircraft for the work performed through the Working Partybr/br/- Maintaining compliance with Airbus 145 proceduresbr/br/- Manage the customers on site.br/br/- Away from our primary activity, the Working Party Manager can expect to be engaged in other activities such asbr/br/- Supporting across programs in advisory rolesbr/br/- Developing special working party toolsbr/br/- Developing and validating Service Bulletin ’s (SB)br/br/- Engaging with other Airbus departments on cross projectsbr/br/- Supporting Airlines and MRO’s in advisory roles such as troubleshooting and repair embodiment.br/br/- Support Airbus production in pre-SBbr/br/This role requires extensive travel. All applicants should be prepared to travel for long periods on short notice.br/br/Desired skills and qualificationsbr/br/- EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License Cat B1 (B2 and C added advantage)br/br/- Minimum 2 current Airbus Type Ratings as CAT B1br/br/- 5 years certifying experience in a supervisory rolebr/br/- Advanced English (French, German, Spanish added advantage)br/br/- Good communication skillsbr/br/- Proven experience in managing teamsbr/br/- To be able to take initiative and decisionsbr/br/- Ability to work autonomouslybr/br/- Experience in working abroadbr/br/- Demonstrate cultural awarenessbr/br/- Work to schedules, budgets, and qualitybr/br/- Competency with IT tools such as SAP, Workday, AirNavX and Airbus Worldbr/br/- Competency in Structural aircraft repair will be advantagebr/br/- To be flexiblebr/br/- Safety minded for both aspects: people and productbr/br/- To be able to establish, maintain good relationships with customer and negotiate on the working party aspects.br/br/At least two years of the contract will require on-site deployment at the customer location (MoB) in Teruelbr/br/This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.br/br/Not a 100% match?
