The Chief Accountant is a key player in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include document verification, bank statement reconciliation, tax declaration preparation, and adherence to accounting policies. This role is crucial for smooth financial processes and addressing various accounting challenges.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS A CHIEF ACCOUNTANT?
- Verification, classification, and accounting of documents.
- Recording and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Ongoing analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts, along with verification of entries on ledger accounts.
- Verification of the correctness of issued documents in terms of applying the correct VAT rate and SII declaration.
- Preparation of tax declarations, fulfillment of statutory obligations.
- Adherence to accounting policies and tax procedures.
- Closing monthly and annual accounting periods.
- Preparation of analyses and reports.
What do you bring as a chief accountant?
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the accounting of a group company.
- Higher education in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of tax regulations (VAT, CIT, PIT).
- Desire for professional development and deepening knowledge in the field of accounting and taxes.
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics AX is valuable but not required.
