In this role, you will optimize IBM Software Asset usage, minimize costs, and ensure software license compliance by leading the implementation of policies, processes, and optimization initiatives for designated Software Publisher. The Global IS Software Asset Manager has an excellent technical understanding of IBM's software portfolio and alternatives, to advise Business Areas on the selection and use of the correct software.
This role contributes to the Core IS Services. Main stakeholders include Service Owners and Application Owners worldwide, and you will join a high-performing team where you can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure contract-compliant use of IBM software products by managing the Software Product Lifecycle for assigned products and driving related process implementation across ABB.
* Translate optimization opportunities into an action roadmap across IS functions and drive execution across ABB.
* Plan and consolidate software consumption demands, providing validated forecasts to Sourcing and Vendor Management.
* Act as the single point of contact for product-related queries from stakeholders and business representatives, advising on correct software products and license models.
* Manage internal and external audits, overseeing their technical control within assigned product suites.
* Ensure product availability and facilitate requests and distribution.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
* 10+ years of experience in IT, with over 5 years in Software Asset and License Management of IBM products.
* Highly skilled in software asset management within large and complex environments.
* Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships with trust, professionalism, and transparency.
* Familiarity with software license management solutions, e.G., Flexera FNMS / F1.
* Comfortable communicating in English, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office products.
