The Role
A rapidly growing company in the electric vehicle charging and energy sector is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to support its expansion across Spain.
Junior candidates will receive training and development and you will work closely with the Sales team to expand presence in Spain and grow the commercial network. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about customers who wants to be part of transforming the energy and mobility sectors through technology.
Key Responsibilities
(Responsibilities will vary depending on experience)
* Develop and grow relationships with wholesalers, resellers, and distribution partners.
* Proactively generate new leads through outbound sales activities, including cold calls and personalised communications.
* Qualify and convert inbound B2B and B2C leads, ensuring timely, professional follow-up and an excellent customer experience.
* Manage a B2B prospect pipeline and convert leads into business partnerships.
* Handle the full sales cycle, from initial contact and proposal to negotiation and contract signing.
About You
* 1-2 years experience in sales, business development, or a commercial role (energy, electrical, EV, smart home, or technology sectors preferred)
* Strong interest in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and smart home technologies
* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-growing environment
* Fluent in Spanish and English
* Based in or near Barcelona
