The Role
* Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing external sales team by setting clear objectives, providing regular performance feedback, and fostering a results-driven culture.
* Strategy Execution: Develop and implement the SCG Group Service Strategy, aligning short-term initiatives and mid-term objectives with organizational goals.
* Market Engagement: Collaborate proactively with management and sales teams to assess and address evolving local market needs.
* Customer Acquisition & Retention: Support the sales team in acquiring new customers and maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships to maximize satisfaction and long-term value.
* Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders at all management levels.
* Market Analysis: Gather information and documentation for sales and order forecasts, competitor analysis, customer trends, and market prices.
* Industry Representation: Represent the company at key trade fairs and industry exhibitions to enhance visibility and build strategic partnerships.
* CRM Administration: Maintain and optimize Salesforce to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities and pipeline management.
* Travel & Field Support: Undertake extensive travel across Europe to support service sales initiatives and ensure strong market presence.
Your Background
* Experience with service and end-user business.
* Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the mechanical industry.
* Strong problem-solving skills to resolve challenges quickly and support team success.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and adapt strategies.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and motivate teams.
* Proven leadership experience in sales or manufacturing environments.
* Experience managing a distributed sales team is a distinct advantage.
* Good command of English; additional European languages are an advantage.
