Job Title: Business Development Manager - EV Charging
Location: Hybrid (Madrid)
Languages Required: Spanish & Portuguese & English
Salary: DOE

Role Overview:
Our client is a market leader in EV charging and smart energy systems, developing accessible and user-friendly charging solutions designed to make sustainable mobility simple and scalable.

The company has secured over €20 million in funding from leading European investors and has already deployed tens of thousands of units across Europe. With innovation at its core, the company is driving the transition toward cleaner, smarter energy use across households and businesses.

As Business Development Manager for Spain & Portugal, you’ll play a key role in driving market growth through proactive lead generation, relationship building, and collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through research, outreach, and strategic prospecting. Use multiple channels – including calls, emails, and networking – to qualify leads and introduce the company’s product range.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential customers, offering tailored solutions and outstanding service to earn trust and drive long-term partnerships.
CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and activities in the CRM system, ensuring a structured and effective sales process.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to refine lead generation strategies and support the wider sales team in managing client opportunities.

Key Experience & Qualifications:
2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Proactive, confident, and comfortable reaching out to new clients daily.
Passionate about e-mobility, clean energy, or technology innovation.
Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese (English proficiency is a plus).
