Health and Safety Specialist - Industrial Process Safety
to join our team. This role reports to the HSE & LP Senior Manager and involves promoting safety, hygiene, health, and environmental respect through effective HSE management systems, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Handle safety and hygiene disciplines within COTY Granollers' Prevention Service, complying with Occupational Risk Prevention Law 31/1995.
Ensure legal compliance in handling, processing, and storing flammable products and chemicals, including risk assessments.
Maintain and update COTY Granollers' Self-Protection Plan and act as the contact with authorities.
Coordinate with insurance companies, evaluate loss prevention requirements, and develop action plans.
Lead the application of COTY's Construction Safety program, ensuring legal compliance in construction projects.
Support the management of the Coordination of Business Activities (CAE) and participate in contractor evaluations.
Participate in and support other HSE programs, planning and executing preventive activities.
Assist in risk assessments, work permits, and safety training across the plant.
Contribute to equipment/installation change controls and new project safety validations.
Candidate Profile & RequirementsIdeal candidates enjoy working in a dynamic, diverse environment, demonstrate leadership, and thrive in fast-paced, international settings. Requirements include:
University degree in scientific or technical fields.
Higher Technician in PRL, essential in Safety and Hygiene.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a prevention technician in the chemical or pharmaceutical sector.
Proficiency in MS Office.
High level of English proficiency.
